Job Description
In your role as an Accountant on the Business Processing Outsourcing team, your primary duties will entail being responsible for multiple clients, reconciling GL accounts, processing month end Journal Entries, and compiling monthly financial packages. You will assist clients with creation of new reports including but not limited to ADHOCs, financial statements, and lease operating statements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process monthly JEs on behalf of clientPrepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basisPrepare Monthly GL ReconciliationsGeneral Ledger Research Prepare monthly financial packageMeet client deadlines and prepare/maintain monthly calendarCreate and analyze for accuracy ADHOCs, financial statements, and lease operating statements
Technical Ability:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Math Must have the proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work independentlyMust be detailed oriented and organizedTyping and data entry; 10-key calculatorMust be willing to learn and be a self-starter Solid technical, analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work within a teamAbility to learn and work with multiple software applications
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant work experience is required2-5 years of experience in AccountingOil and Gas accounting experience a plus DocVue or similar document management software experience is a plus
