This person will report to the Chair of the Accounting and Information Systems Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:This person will primarily teach courses in financial and managerial accounting. In addition, the person is expected to incorporate data, analytics, and technology into accounting classes. Teaching will be at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Perform service that includes outreach to students, student groups, and outreach to alumni, firms, and the broader accounting community. In addition, playing a central role in advising students and helping with other service at the request of the chair.
Minimum Qualifications:A Ph.D. or DBA in accounting is preferred but not required. If the candidate does not have a terminal degree, then a graduate degree with a CPA and 8+ years of experience is required. The candidate should have a capability to and/or strong willingness to incorporate accounting, data, analytics, and technology into the curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated capability of high-quality teaching in both financial and managerial accounting as well as evidence of excellence in working with students. Previous relevant industry experience and a terminal degree is preferred, as is the ability to maintain scholarly academic status under AACSB accreditation standards.
