Responsibilities

The Assistant Project Accountant is a member of the accounting team and provides financial support to Shawmut's project teams for lump sum and GMP projects.

Supports Project Accountant and project teams for lump sum and GMP jobsProject setups/closeoutsInternal budget locking/mappingBilling/Mapping/Cost movesPhase code setupOpportunity Management/CRM Support/Opportunity NotificationsAny responsibilities delegated from Project AccountantReporting and TrackingBusiness line tracking of Finance related deliverablesRun time charging reports /manage allocationsProduce PX scorecard if neededUpdate various tracking spreadsheets for business line analysisAd hoc reporting as needed or as delegated toHandles LS and small GMP projects with financial oversightProject setups/closeoutsInternal budget locking/mappingBilling/Mapping/Cost movesPhase code setupOther projects as assigned
Qualifications

Experience & Education
Undergrad Degree (Accounting/Finance coursework, Degree Preferred)0-1 years of experience or relevant internship experienceAP experience preferred but not required
Skills Required
