The Accounting Coordinator role helps support the business by applying knowledge to assist with moderately complex projects and assignments including invoicing, collections and weekly radio affiliate logs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Independently process complex invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
Coordinate communication with vendors and internal departments to address discrepancies, adjustments and other advanced financial issues.
Compile and reconcile detailed bank statements and advanced financial reports.
Monitor for delinquent accounts and initiate collection action to resolve unpaid balances.
Maintain accurate vendor accounts and record and report on payments.
Lead administrative functions, streamlining processes within the accounting team.
Maintain accurate, efficient and appropriate rotation for weekly radio spot logs that includes adding, deleting and updating radio spots as well as distributing to radio affiliates weekly.
Create, maintain and provide weekly log reporting to ensure correct placement and prevent overselling spots.
Ongoing communication with radio affiliates.
Process monthly and quarterly vendor payments.

Job QualificationsAt least 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education (GED or higher).
Demonstrated ability to clearly and professionally communicate ideas to audiences of varying levels, including coworkers, supervisors, executives, and vendors.
Excellent knowledge of billing procedures and various account collection techniques, laws and regulations.
Negotiation and decision-making skills; analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate experience in Excel using V-look ups and Pivot tables.
Attention to detail.
