POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Representative reports to the Account Representative Supervisor and will be the customer service representative and point of contact for customers leasing liquid storage tanks.


JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES

Provide excellent customer service for customers leasing liquid storage tanks Work directly with the storage customers to facilitate product movement orders via vessel, rail, truck, ISO container, or tank-to-tank transferPublish inventory reports and prepare customer's monthly schedule of charges for invoicingAdminister customer's storage agreement and ensure accurate and thorough revenue capture based on contract parametersBack-up the Dispatch window, as needed, to assist truck drivers in use of the scale, rack locations, issuing loading tickets/shipping paperwork/security seals, etc.Represent the storage customer's needs and best interests to internal Operations personnel, third party carriers, vessel agents, auditors, and surveying companiesOther Terminal management duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required3-5 years' experience preferredHighly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfactionAbility to multi-task in a dynamic office environment without sacrificing focus, attention to detail, and/or accuracyMotivated self-starter with the ability to perform with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingWillingness to be flexible with daily routines, work overtime as needed, and monitor the Terminal's 24-hour on-call phonePossess a strong work ethic, a team player attitude, good organization skills, and a commitment to safetyBasic understanding of marine terminal operations, logistics, warehousing, shipping paperwork, inventory reporting, etc. preferredFollow established procedures, recognize errors, and anticipate problems before they occurHave the fortitude to be "the face of the customer" and proactively act on customer issues by working with internal personnel and third parties to solve problemsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to use various Terminal Management Software applicationsIntermediate computer and math skills required
