Position Summary:

We are seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Sales Team. In this direct sales role, you will drive new business through prospecting, territory management, and occasional onsite visits. You will collaborate with the sales engineering team and ensure smooth transitions to the implementation team. Once onboarded, customers will remain in your territory for upsell or cross-sell opportunities. This role emphasizes acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing clients. Performance is measured by a quota-based defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive a prescriptive sales process to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within a defined sales territory, and prospect for new clients through various strategies. Engage and nurture qualified leads from different teams (e.g., Channel, Logistics, Analytics, Marketing) and cross-sell or upsell to existing customers. Maintain a rolling 90-day pipeline to meet or exceed annual reoccurring revenue (ARR) quota while documenting key activities and insights in Salesforce.com. Collaborate with the account team to leverage existing SPS relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with Customer Success.
Location:

In this hybrid role, you will be required to work onsite from our Minneapolis office two days per week.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant sales experience, or some post-secondary education with 3 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 1 year in a commission-based sales role. Effective communicator with strong verbal, non-verbal, and written skills, capable of adjusting tone and style to engage different audiences. Demonstrated integrity, relationship-building skills, and leadership abilities. Ability to clearly translate and communicate business issues and technical information to individuals with varied levels of expertise.

At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. SPS provides the annualized compensation target inclusive of base salary and annualized commission target for this role.

The total annualized on-target compensation for this role is: $90,000.
