We are pleased to announce the opening for a Mid-Level Accountant, who will join Business Operations Team in Huntsville, AL and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

Responsibilities:
Assist in daily accounting operations using Unanet ERP systemSupport month-end and year-end close processesHelp prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including annual Incurred Cost Submission using the ICE-modelAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasksSupport budget preparation and forecasting activitiesEnsure compliance with DCAA requirements, maintain accurate financial records and documentation, and participate in audit preparation and support
Basic Qualifications:
You must have bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.You will need 5-7 years of full-time professional experience. Preferably in a defense or government contracting environment.You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Unanet ERP system strongly preferredSolid understanding of accounting principles and practices, and FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance requirementsExperience with project-based accounting and indirect rate calculationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applicationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbal
