We are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-proficient Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and analysis for our growing IoT distribution business. This role is an integral part of the accounting team, focused on delivering accurate financial data, insightful reporting, and analysis to drive operational performance. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting acumen, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), and thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare internal financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAPCreate and maintain detailed reporting packages, including gross margin, inventory aging, and channel performanceAnalyze sales, cost of goods sold, rebates, and operational expenses to identify trends and variancesReconcile critical balance sheet accountsSupport product and vendor-level profitability analysis and Registration/SPA (Special Pricing Agreement) tracking/reconciliationsCollaborate with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure financial accuracy and integrity of transactionsParticipate in the budgeting and forecasting process with a focus on expense planning and margin contributionAssist with audit support, documentation of internal controls, and continuous improvement of accounting processesContribute to reporting automation and workflow improvements within D365 F&O and Excel
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in distribution, electronics, or technology sectorsStrong working knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or comparable ERP systemsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dynamic reporting)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data to non-financial audiencesProven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities independently
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
