Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of both payables and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and customer collections. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000/year, based on qualifications and experience

Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and perform 3-way matchingPrepare and execute weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires)Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accountsGenerate and send customer invoices and statementsPost incoming payments and reconciling customer accountsManage vendor and customer records within the ERP systemRespond to vendor and customer inquiries in a timely and professional mannerAssist with month-end close, including AP/AR reconciliations and accrualsEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policiesCollaborate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to resolve discrepanciesWork with purchasing and supplier quality teams to ensure credit memos are collected from suppliersReimburses employees by receiving and verifying expense reports, preparing checksAssist the finance team with treasury functionsPerform other duties as assigned
Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.2-5 years of experience in a combined AP/AR role.Proficiency in accounting softwareStrong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas).Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.Experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment is a plus.
