About the Role

Fivetran is searching for a Commercial Account Executive to take full ownership of our Southern European market covering Spain, Italy and Portugal. This is not your typical AE role. You'll be the first and only dedicated AE in the region, with the autonomy to shape strategy, define success, and lead growth from the ground up.

This is a high-risk, high-reward role for someone entrepreneurial, driven, and excited by the opportunity to build a business within a business. Youll be joining a team of top performers at a company in hypergrowth, backed by world-class investors and on the path to IPO in one of the most exciting and fast-evolving industries: the modern data stack.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Dublin office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You'll Do
Own and grow your region like a business youre the go-to person for everything Southern EuropeBuild and close a pipeline of high-impact SaaS dealsAct as a trusted advisor to customers across the data ecosystemCollaborate with channel partners to amplify reach and outcomesEnsure seamless onboarding and long-term success for every customer you bring on
Skills We're Looking For
2+ years of SaaS sales experience with a strong record of overachievementProven ability to build and close net-new business in an emerging or underdeveloped territoryFluent in English and Spanish. Entrepreneurial spirit this is a build-from-scratch roleExperience with complex, solution-based sales and managing multiple stakeholdersStrong business development instincts and proactive pipeline generation
Bonus Skills
Confidence selling high-value SaaS contracts ($100k$250k ARR)Previous experience working with partners in a data or analytics ecosystemPassion for customer success and the grit to grow a region into a powerhouseAdditional languages such as Italian or Portuguese would be highly beneficial
