About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our captive financing division, managing accounting functions related to software financing and customer payment programs.
What You'll Do:
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage monthly/quarterly/annual closing processes
Prepare financial statements and reports for the captive finance entity
Oversee loan accounting and revenue recognition
Monitor and report on portfolio performance metrics
Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to support operational needs and meet regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with Treasury, Tax, Pricing, Sales and other areas to optimize deal economics and ensure profitability
Manage funding with a leverage ratio of debt:equity that enhances profitability

Quote-to-Cash Management
Responsible for revenue recognition and associated reconciliations
Monitor customer collections
Implement best practices for revenue recognition and billing accuracy

Operations & Controls
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ASC 842)
Implement internal controls for loan operations
Oversee credit risk assessment processes

Team Leadership
Manage accounting staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Provide guidance on complex accounting issues
Partner with Treasury, Tax, and Legal departments

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
CPA certification
7+ years accounting experience
Experience with software/technology industry financing
Proficiency in SaaS ERP systems and financial modeling
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Experience with Solifi (formerly IDS) platform for loan management is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's in Accounting/Finance
Experience with software subscription models
Background in SaaS company operations

Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Deep understanding of cost of funds and time value of money in loan transactions
Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
Strong communication and stakeholder management
