We are seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to uphold financial procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards by preparing reports and statements. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining and reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring all accounting tasks and records comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This role requires regular work status updates to management.
You will:
Collaborate with Divisional Controllers to prepare and analyze financial reports.Review project margins and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues.Assist management in analyzing financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets.Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and other transactions for month-end close.Complete journal entries, adjustments, and accruals.Assist Accounts Receivable with collections to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.Assist with audit requests and ensure regulatory compliance.Troubleshoot finance-related system issues.Document processes as requested.Maintain and update accounting records and systems.Research and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.Provide support and guidance to other accounting staff and departments.Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the Careers of our associates.
You have:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field3-5 years of relevant accounting experienceAdvanced understanding of analytical processes, review procedures, and GAAPProficient in Excel, Office 365, and Payroll softwareCommunication, teamwork, business knowledgeProactive, collaborative, adaptable to technology and procedure changesOrganized with strong attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or in a teamHandle confidential informationMulti-task and meet deadlinesPrepare and interpret financial statements and reportsA DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
