The Kinsley Group is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for process improvement. Reporting to the Controller, this role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. You'll help produce monthly internal financial statements and lead in-depth quarterly reporting to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and record accurate journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expensesMaintain and balance sub-ledger and general ledger accountsOversee account reconciliation using FloQastIdentify and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate closingsProduce monthly trial balances and comprehensive financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Analyze financial statements to uncover trends and improvement opportunitiesManage and execute weekly payroll with precision, including tax withholdings and benefitsCalculate, file, and manage Sales and Use Tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictionsAssist with audits, tax support, and general accounting functionsCollaborate on ad hoc assignments and cross-departmental projects
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience5+ years of accounting/finance experienceSolid understanding of GAAP and tax regulationsStrong financial reporting and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is a plusExperience with ERP systems (ERP implementation experience a bonus)Self-motivated with excellent organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
