Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Support Specialist to join our US based team and support our financial operations. Candidates must be local to the North Alabama area.

In this role, you will:

Review and verify cost accounting and accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and compliance.Prepare invoices, vouchers, and other financial documents in a timely manner.Balance accounts payable and accounts receivable records to maintain accurate financial data.Utilize office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, and respond to internal and external inquiries.Process employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies.Perform additional duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting team.This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and the capability to work effectively under moderate supervision.
Education / Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in accounts payable or vendor payment processing.Proficiency in data entry and a solid understanding of accounting processes.Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.Experience using office-automated systems for accounting tasks; familiarity with Great Plains is a plus.Must be located in the North Alabama area to handle in-office tasks, such as check processing, as needed.
