JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Clerk

REPORTS TO: VP of Finance/Controller

SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller this position will provide support to the Finance/Accounting/Payroll departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Match invoices to receiving documents and purchase orders.Post invoices into the computer system.Generate accounts payable and refund checks.Research vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies.File paid and unpaid invoices and statements and scan documents to be filed on the networkOrganize and match credit card statements with receipts
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No formal supervisor responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work is conducted indoors in an office environmentMust be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk; must be able to view computer screen for prolonged periods of time; must be able to enter data using keyboard accurately and efficientlyMust be able to communicate effectively via phone or email with personnel at remote job sitesMay be required to climb stairs
